wow, susan, thank you for interviewing sarah and for the question about how to manage the sweets. her responses hit so close to home for me. the sugar. the shame. learning how to have a healthier relationship with food (no bad foods). all of it. i am a 68 year old lifelong baker who is caring for my 99 on sunday mum and i don't have any budget to buy sarah's book but would love to have it. thanks for the giveaway and for the recipe and for the interview.

Because my kid has the fifth grade teacher no one wants, so a few extra morning treats are going to be in order!

Because breakfast is the best meal of the day and I just eat non-breakfast food to be accepted in society.

What a great looking book and fab interview... I'm always intrigued as to why anyone would bother to pan bang, lol! I need this book to prove to my children that I still love them since I've kinda stopped baking anything other than birthday cakes, so that's just 3x a year. They would adore me if I baked some sweet breakfast treats!

Terrific recipe and interview. Hearing how other bakers, recipe developers, home cooks, chefs--whomever--handle temptation when preparing various food is sooo helpful. Since I launched my foodletter this year, I’ve cooked and baked more than I have in years. Thank god for potluck suppers and friends with lots of kids (or husbands with a sweet tooth)!

Sarah comes across as a lovely, genuine person who's not afraid to be open about her struggles. Her challenges with food strike a chord with me and I'm happy she's found some balance. Maybe I can, too! Her cookbooks must reflect her personal warmth and sincerity and I need that in my life! Thanks for introducing Sarah to us. It warms my heart.

I've never met a morning treat I didn't want! My toxic trait is I can be scrolling social media or my email, see a recipe that looks great, and hop off the chair to turn the oven on to make it RIGHTNOW! Then, I'll make a 2nd or 3rd thing, since the oven is already on and ready. Never waste a hot oven! Thanks for the interview with Sarah, which was honest and interesting!

Thank you so much for the enriching interview and for this opportunity. Ahh -- sugar and shame...of course this book would help. As a morning person, as a baking person, as a sweets person -- I would love to own this book. I'm new to your newsletter and am happy to be here. Cheers!
