I pledge allegiance to Susan's Irish Stout Brownie recipe! Seriously social media inundated with Guinness brownie recipes galore over the last few days. But yours I will make! (froze the other brownies I made & gave some to pet sitter) Love the sound of the cake with spices, dried fruit & glaze and will reserve for a future indulgence. Happy St. Paddy's!

Pretty please for that sofa bread recipe! If it tastes only half as good as it looks, it’ll be amazing! 😋

YES, to the recipe for the soda bread! I've tried many but some are gimmicky. The genuine bread is very appealing :) Since I live in Maine, seaweed is easy to find. Many thanks, Jane

p.s. this is long over due but I cook/bake for my husband and myself so any new recipe I try I divide in half if it's easily divisible. Thanks for all you do >**<

The cake and the brownies look spectacular, but the soda bread with dulse is singing to me. Do you think I can try rehydrating my Scottish dulse? I'd love to see your recipe. Eagerly awaiting your vegetable book.

I know! Once I pulled up the picture I realized I'd need to share the recipe. Yes you could reconstitute the dried dulse and add that along with some whole wheat flour.

Ok reporting from the field....this turned out amazing! Went to Safeway albeit late on St. Patrick's Day to find they were sold out of Guinness and any other Irish stout. So I bought a local coffee stout and I think it complemented the espresso powder perfectly. I definitely did not bake it longer so it was FUDGY!!! Easy and delicious!

Would love the soda bread recipe. I trust you to provide one that's tasty, not too dry or heavy. I always use my Americanized version with raisins and caraway seeds, so am looking to add a good Irish version to my repertoire.

Made the Fruity Dark Chocolate Guinness Cake and am in love. It is wonderful and I didn't even add the glaze. I can assure you this cake won't be relegated to just St Pat's day at my house. Thanks for sharing.
