To make a healthier version of snickers ā€” dates stuffed with almond butter, dunked in warm chocolate and rolled in Maldon salt. Yummmm

I remember being able to buy as many six different varieties of dates in larger health food store in California in the sixties and seventies. One kind was almost black as a prune or a raisin. I'd love to try Rancho Meladuco dates. Iā€™m going to look for that heirloom pack in the meantime.

I'd like to win so I can experience what great date should be! My feelings on dates have been mixed through the years - I've had amazing ones, and not-so-amazing ones. I want to set the bar for great dates.

As soon as I finished reading this the other day, I immediately ordered a couple of boxes of these dates. I absolutely love dates and these are truly the best I have ever eaten (also received some super-nice emails from Joan when I emailed in a question). Thanks so much for writing this!

Husband is very health conscious, and I was looking for various varieties the last time I was in morocco. I would love to try this out.

Omg! I just got the dates that I ordered. What a revelation. They are so much more succulent than the grocery store dates. More so even than other dates Iā€™ve ordered from recommended online dried fruit companies.

When I was a kid, we lived in San Diego and went to the Indio Date Festival every year. Back then it was mostly walking around, tasting different varieties of dates, and getting recipes. We would go home with every kind of date, fresh and dried, to use in baking and even making milkshakes. You haven't lived until you've had a date milkshake (we didn't call them smoothies back then). I would love to taste these dates and bake the scones.

I love plump soft sweet medjool dates. It would be fun to try other varieties! I freeze dates for date cake at Christmas time. Yummy!

Dates are great! Theyā€™re a fun way to sweeten baked goods. I make a creamy cashew latte and use blended dates instead of sugarā€¦yum! Love your recipes and would thoroughly enjoy the box of dates :-)

This opportunity to win these gorgeous California dates is bringing me so much joy. It is very difficult to get these in the Northeast. Thank you very much for the chance to win!
